There are two key tests you will need to look at when testing yarn quality -Imperfections for which you would use a Classimat made by Uster, I\'m not sure if any body else makes similar equipment. - Tensile tester to look at the strength and elongation (BS EN ISO 2062), here at Tinius Olsen we are able supply all the equipment required to perform these tests. If you wish to send in samples of your yarn we can recommend the best grips and machine for the job. Alternatively if you want advise on all the equipment available for yarn testing I would recommend that you contact your local SDL- ATLAS Agent who will be able to give a quote.
