Answer

A Xenon Test is a peice of colour equipment that is used to check the colour fastnees to light using a Xenon Arc lamp as the light source as opposed to a Carbon Arc. I would refer you to AATCC Method 16 or EN ISO 105 series - B series of methods for further information on the various methods for Lightfsanees testing. When testing for colour fastness of textile products it will depend on the end use of the product as to which colourfastness test are critical. All the basic colourfastness tests are found in the EN ISO 105 series of methods or the current version of the AATCC manual. Note some Retailers also have additional In House Methods for evaluating specific properties when looking at colourfastness.
