Answer

Hi Sylvia...!

i just want to get a little information that when i prepare the specimen for Seam Slippage along Warp direction what would be the results identify either the result will of Warp or will of Weft. i mean that specimen prepared along Warp direction will show the results of Weft??

Reply..If you are preparing the specimen as per section 8; warp tensile will give filling(weft) direction seam property results, filling(weft) tensile gives warp seam property results. You need to remember when using our QMat Professional software to load the seam half of your specimen 1st then the un-seamed as per method. Note Seam specimens taken from garments  will not be exactly paralell to the warp or weft direct a may give problem when testing in accordance with this method. Manufactured (Production) seams must made up specifically for testing in accordance with section 7.
