SDL Atlas and its specialist technology partner Tinius Olsen has recently completed a project working alongside the Quality Assurance and supplier accreditation team at NEXT UK's laboratories in Enderby, Leicestershire. By incorporating its own test methods into the Tinius Olsen testing software platform, NEXT UK can use its Tinius Olsen H5K-S Tension/Compression textile and garment testing machine to check the strength and performance of fabrics, seams and components to verify stretch, tear and wear resistance properties. The new suit of 16 test methods is NOW available to upgrade existing machines across the global NEXT supplier network and includes NEXT methods for testing among other parameters seams, extension recovery, bra wire casings, buttons and garment form.
